Who we are

AANA LABS LTD is the data controller. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17095417. Our registered office is 182–184 High Street North, London, England, E6 2JA. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@aanalabs.com.

Information we collect

Depending on the form you use, we collect your name, email address or mobile number, organisation, enquiry or project details, selected interests, and the answers you choose to provide about your work, teaching or early-access needs. We also create a submission reference and record submission and workflow times. We do not use these forms for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Why we use it

We use company-enquiry information to review and respond to requests, discuss possible work, provide requested support and maintain a record of the conversation. We use Slate registration information to understand prospective users, contact people about relevant early-access opportunities and shape the product.

We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business and responding to people who contact us. Where a conversation concerns taking steps toward a contract, we may also process information for that purpose. We will obtain consent before using details for unrelated optional marketing.

Who processes it

We use service providers for website hosting, database and authentication, transactional email and our business mailbox. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail and Zoho. They process information only to provide their services to us. Some processing may take place outside the UK; where required, we rely on the provider’s applicable contractual or legal transfer safeguards.

How long we keep it

We normally keep active enquiries and registrations for up to 24 months so we can manage the relationship and understand prior conversations. Test, rejected and spam submissions are normally removed within 90 days. We may keep limited information longer where reasonably necessary for legal, security or record-keeping obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to our use of it. Contact hello@aanalabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security, updates and contact

We restrict submission access to authorised staff and use access controls appropriate to the services involved. No internet service can promise absolute security. We will update this notice when our processing changes and show the revision date below.
